- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, making sure to seal any perforations.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 3/4 cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and gently place it over the cream cheese layer, again sealing any perforations.
- Brush the melted butter over the top, then sprinkle with the remaining sugar mixed with cinnamon. Add chopped pecans if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the center is set. Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
