  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Pour this mixture over the beef mixture and gently mix until everything is well incorporated.
  4. Shape the mixture into small, bite-sized nuggets, about the size of a walnut. This should yield approximately 20-24 nuggets.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the nuggets in batches, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Transfer the seared nuggets to the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake the nuggets in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they’re cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  7. Let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving so they remain juicy and flavorful.
