Description
Learn how to make delicious ground beef nuggets. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (feel free to substitute with crushed crackers for added texture)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Pour this mixture over the beef mixture and gently mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small, bite-sized nuggets, about the size of a walnut. This should yield approximately 20-24 nuggets.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the nuggets in batches, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Transfer the seared nuggets to the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the nuggets in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they’re cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving so they remain juicy and flavorful.
